First Contact The midwife will see you in a clinic or children’s centre and discuss your medical history and any previous pregnancies.
She will advise you on the pathway for your current pregnancy, and assist in arranging and booking your scan.
At 16-18 weeks You’ll go along to a routine antenatal session with your midwife.
At all these sessions the midwife will check your blood pressure, urine and general wellbeing.
